Orders & Returns

All of our panels, with the exception of a few of our curtain sold per pair, are sold as singles. If you need a total of 2 panels, you need to add a quantity of 2 panels into your cart.

Once order was picked up by carrier, our system will send you email to advise carrier and tracking number. You may visit carrier offical website to mornitor your package. You are able to work with carrier to make appointment of delivery time. You can track your oder Here.

ChadMade is unique in the industry! We work very close with fabric supplier and own own workrooms. Because we control and oversee the entire process from start to finish, we can offer high quality products at extremely affordable prices.

Experienced Customer Service representatives are available Monday to Friday to answer your questions regarding products, measuring and any other aspect of placing your order. We will be happy to give you a custom quote designed around your specifications.

  • Orders cancelled within 12 hours (workday) of payment confirmation are eligible for a full refund.
  • Orders cancelled after production begins may be cancelled, but you will be responsible for 25% of the product price.
  • Orders will not be accepted to be cancelled once orders are shipped.

Return

Fabric swatches and sample booklets are not returnable. Drapes and shade are made to measure products, we can't accept return if products are made matching your original order details.The following conditions do not qualify for return for Ready-Made or Made-to-Order drapes, blinds and shades.

  • Misunderstood the image of the product.
  • Items do not fit properly but were made accurately. 
  • Drapes are too heavy.
  • Not the color you wanted.
  • Change of mind / No longer wants it.
  • Not the quality you wanted.
  • Ordered the wrong item by mistake. 
  • Wrong size. Tolerance size within +/- 1 inch is treated as industry acceptable.
  • Order come later than expected.
  • Item were ordered by mistake.
  • Incorrect measurement.
  • Color variation due to fabric dye lot that naturally occurs (reasonable color differences are allowed between the sample  booklets and the finished drapery).
  • Color variation due to adding a liner (compare lined drapes vs unlined).
  • Color variation due to adding different liners to the same color curtain.
  • Shading rate is not expected.

Exchange

For damaged or broken items, we accept exchange only.Please cantact us via email: Chadmade@chadmade.com at once within 3 days of receipt, and keep all the packaging (outer and inner packaging) and provide us with the photos of the packaging and products to apply for an exchange. We will arrange an exchange for you after confirmation.

Any reasonable return request will be accepted and handled within 30 days upon your receipt. We remind you to check the products as soon as you receive them. If the products come defective when they arrive, please contact us within 7 daysupon receipt at Chadmade@chadmade.com. We need you to provide the shipping label of the package, and photos to prove the package's status. We will inspect the products and if we agree with you that the products are defective then we will either (at our discretion) offer a full refund for the price of the product, or repair or replace the product (we will notify you by e-mail of the action we will take). All returned items must be in brand-new condition, unused, and with original tags and packaging. 

Once returned items were received, we will inspect to ensure in brand-new conditiion, unused and with original tags and packaging. Then we will either (at our discretion) offer a full refund for the price of the product, or repair or replace the product (we will notify you by e-mail of the action we will take). If you meet our return criteria and provide the above-mentioned product defect photos and shipping label, then we will provide a refund for the full cost of your purchase of this order immediately after we receive and confirm the return package, which will be returned to your original payment method within3-10 days.

  • Prior purchases are not eligible for price adjustments.
  • Prior purchases are not eligible for discount refund.
  • We don't offer refund to lost packages but we will send the replacement instead.

Shipping & Delivery

Customized Drapes Lead Time

Standard shipping : 10-12 days.
Express shipping : 3-7 days. 

The shipping time provided on our website is a guide only and represents the time frame that 95% of orders are filled within.
If you require drapes by a certain date, please contact us at Chadmade@chadmade.com to confirm the time frame and order it in advance.

Once order(s) are shipped, you'll receive a tracking number to follow up with carrier.

Tips:Shipping time may be changed due to holidays, please pay attention to the website notice!

Payment

Any duties and VAT are on your side. The duties fees and VAT depend on thetax laws of your country custom.

For all products excluding made-to-order items, orders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before the orders are shipped. Once order are shipped, you will be advised with carrier name and tracking number.

Orders cancelled within 12 hours (workday) of payment confirmation are eligible for a full refund.

Orders will not be accepted to be cancelled once orders are shipped.

Made-to-order products that have already been shipped can not be cancelled.

Measurement & Installment

Measure the length from the eyelet on the ring to the floor.

For pleated curtains, the panel width is the width that pleats are already set. 1.8X-2.2X fabric usage in default to create pleats and folds.

And panel width is from the left pleat to the right pleat, return not included.

  • If you already have a track, measure the total length of the track.
  • If you do not already have a rod or track, then you will need to determine the total width that you would like your drapery to cover.

Miscellaneous

The estimate weight per panel you ordered is:

(Width*times fullness*Length*0.0254*0.0254)*(fabric gsm + liner gsm)

For example:

If you ordered panel of Tallis/52''Wx84''L/pinch pleat (1.8x fullness by default)/privacy 90gsm liner.

The weight per panel is:

(52*1.8*84*0.0254*0.0254)*(350+90)=2.24kg

(Width*Length*0.0254*0.0254)*(fabric gsm + liner gsm)

The weight per panel is:

(52*84*0.0254*0.0254)*(350+90)=1.24kg

Only pin hooks included, curtain rings and rod are not included.

Window Curtains

A general rule of thumb is to position the curtain rod slightly above the window frame and extend it several inches beyond the frame on both sides. This allows the curtains to fully cover the window when closed without blocking out too much light. 

It's usually better for curtains to be a bit longer than too short. If they're too short, they might not cover the window well and can look awkward. Longer curtains can be adjusted more easily to the right length and tend to look nicer pooling on the floor. Check out this guide that can help you: How to Measure Windows for Blinds & Shade

Curtains should be 2 to 2.5 times wider than the window. This lets them be pulled back beyond the frame for more light or to enhance the window's look while staying full when closed.

It's suggested to clean your curtains every 3 to 6 months for a fresh and tidy home. However, weekly routine cleaning is a must to reduce dust and allergens. 

  1. Determine the desired height of the rod above the window frame. Use a measuring tape to ensure the rod is even on both sides. 
  2. Attach the brackets to the marked spots using screws and a drill. (Make sure the brackets are level and secure.)
  3. Slide the curtain rod into the brackets. Some rods have finials (decorative end caps); ensure they face outward.

It is recommended that the minimum width is no less than 22 inch. The finished product smaller than 22 inch will have poorer effect.

Roman Shade

They go all the way down to the window(not the floor), meaning you'll have fewer concerns about children pulling on them or pets interacting with them.

Roman shades can sometimes make a room appear smaller, especially when mounted on the inside of the window, which is why they are often better suited for larger rooms and spaces. But, if you choose white-colored shades, your shades will help reflect the light, creating the appearance of even more space.
